The Divine Commission According to the Heavenly Vision | April 15-17
When Jesus appeared to the young man Saul of Tarsus He said, “I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a minister and a witness both of the things in which you have seen Me and of the things in which I will appear to you” (Acts 26:16). As college students our desperate need is to see the heavenly vision that Paul saw–the vision of Christ and His Body. Such a vision will revolutionize our life and service to the Lord. The heavenly vision we see then becomes the divine commission, compelling us to be ministers and witnesses of the things in which we have seen Christ. May the Lord gain a body of His witnesses on the college campuses—boldly speaking and living out the heavenly vision!
But rise up and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a minister and a witness both of the things in which you have seen Me and of the things in which I will appear to you
Acts 26:16
