The Crucial Points of the Truth in Galatians (6)
Christ Redeemed Us from the Law that We Might Receive the Sonship
Ephesians 1:5 Predestinating us unto sonship through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will,
Galatians 4:5-7 That He might redeem those under law that we might receive the sonship. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father! So then you are no longer a slave but a son; and if a son, an heir also through God.
Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Romans 8:29 Because those whom He foreknew, He also predestinated to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the Firstborn among many brothers.

The truth of the believers as sons of God is an important revelation in the Bible, and it is very much related to the process of sonship (Rom. 8:14; Gal. 3:26; 4:5; Eph. 1:5).
Being children of God is our initial, or primary, relationship with God; we need to grow to become sons of God, and then we need further growth unto maturity in order to become heirs of God (Rom. 8:14, 16-17, 23).
As believers in Christ the Son of God, we have been born of God the Father, the source of life, to be children of God with the life and nature of God (John 1:12-13; 3:15; 2 Pet. 1:4).
The greatest wonder in the entire universe is that human beings could be begotten of God and sinners could be made children of God (1 John 2:29—3:1; Rom. 5:19; 8:16, 21, 23).

Hymn (Tune)
1. Known of my Father before time began,
Washed in the sprinkling blood of the Lamb,
Now in the spirit I am a God-man,
Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah,
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, Hallelujah.
2. Father, You knew me a long time ago.
In Your foreknowledge, Your mercy to show,
You foreordained me Your glory to know,
Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
3. Son, in Your blood, the most precious of all,
I have been purchased and saved from the fall.
Your resurrection’s my reason to call,
Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
4. Spirit, You came and You sanctified me.
You gave me faith when my eyes couldn’t see.
Now You’re the Spirit of life within me,
Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
5. You are my Father and I have Your seed!
I have been purchased and I am redeemed!
I have the Spirit within me indeed!
Hallelujah, Hallelujah!
